The TaoZhu Project is the heart of BlackBird Jewelry's give back mission. A way to turn art into action. TaoZhu means "Beads of the Way," and for us, those beads are more than gemstones... they are steps along a path of awareness, connection, and giving. 

Each creation, whether a hand knotted gemstone bracelet, a stretch bead design, or one of our hand carved charms, is linked to a cause. A portion of every sale is donated directly to that organization, supporting work to protect wildlife, restore waters, strengthen communities, and inspire future generations. 

Giving back is woven into BlackBird’s philosophy of Awareness Through Adornment. It is not only about how we carry ourselves on this earth, but how we align our spirit and give back. The TaoZhu Project honors that connection… helping our fellow humans, safeguarding our natural world, and amplifying the causes that matter most.
