Hand-Carved Trilobite – Ancestral Echoes of Life
One of Earth’s earliest creatures, the trilobite is a symbol of endurance, evolution, and the ancient forces that shaped life as we know it. This hand-carved interpretation of my favorite childhood fossil was among my first wax carvings, a tribute to the mysteries of prehistoric time.
Trilobites, meaning “three lobes,” were marine arthropods that thrived for over 270 million years before vanishing into extinction. The Ute Native Americans of Utah revered these fossils, calling them pachavee (little water bug) and wearing them as amulets of protection against disease and harm.

Our charms are carved and cast by human hands. They are perfectly imperfect and no two are exactly the same. Each one does have our full attention to detail and finishing.
It is best if you take off your jewelry before going into water, including swimming, showering or even exercising. Our charms are very high quality as are the lobster clasp bails and guaranteed for life but not indestructible. Please do your part to treat with intention and care.
Cleaning:
Sterling Silver - use the included polishing cloth or make a paste of dawn dish soap mixed with baking soda and use a baby soft toothbrush to clean.
Golden Bronze - Should get richer as time passes but you can clean with the same paste mixture.
Ancient Bronze with Green Patina - Leave this away from water, polish or soap. The green will grow as it ages.

If you see that a charm is out of stock, we are most likely working to do a new casting of that charm which typically takes 3-4 weeks to restock. Please contact us if you need it faster and we can do our best to speed up the process.
