AgFossil Dragonfly 14k gold bezel Mala

108 beads. One intention. a meditation in form.

the AgFossil Dragonfly carries me back to the very beginnings of my carving roots... to the images of prehistoric life that flickered behind my closed eyes. I imagined ancient wings, soft shadows, creatures that lived before language. My hands wanted to find them in wax, to coax their forms into the world again...not as relics, but as guardians. 

This dragonfly was sculpted with that longing. A creature born of the ancient world, rising luminous and unbound. From wax to sterling silver, and now held with a bezel of glowing 14k gold, this piece feels like a talisman...something carried, something whispered to, something that remembers.

For the mala itself I chose stones that honor that lineage of earth, fire and time. Matte ruby in kyanite with its deep celestial blues and warm ruby sparks. High polished obsidian glass, dark and reflective like volcanic night. Tiny cut rubies scattered through the strand like embers. Kyanite discs with their quiet shimmer. Sterling silver artistic spacers are flanked by rubies, giving structure and rhythm to the four quadrants of 27 beads. A black obsidian guru bead leads into the medallion, a soft pause before the final descent into the hand made silk tassel. 

Every bead is selected and tied with intention. Every transition is made to feel seamless, like an ancient story carried forward bead by bead. 

This mala can be worn as adornment, held during meditation or placed at your altar. May hope is that it becomes a companion... a reminder of resilience, rebirth and the old wisdom held in quiet wings.
